Origin Story
RUE Kitchen got its start because one weekend the founder, Ke'Anna Dodds, younger brother's football team was having a fundraiser, a barbecue. Her father and uncle were handling the cooking and young Ke'Anna asked to make the sauce. The BBQ sauce was a hit and the food sold out immediately once word spread how great everything was. From then on she was always asked at any family or friend gathering to make her special sauce. Of course, since then she has honed her skills to create what you see here today; but The OG sauce is still the exact same recipe that she created as a child.
